Israel Must Secure the Back Door to Prevent Hezbollah from Escaping

Author: Lance Winslow

The Israeli army has prevented Hezbollah from bringing in more weapons to Beirut airport or along the highway, which leads from Syria to Beirut. However, it is well now that Hezbollah has stockpiled 13,000 rockets and a significant number of arms to fight the Israeli advances. So far over 150,000 refugees have left Lebanon into Syria and there are expected to be 550,000 more refugees within the next 10 days.

The United Nations is calling this a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions and the United States of America has dispatched Condoleezza Rice to go and talk to the Lebanese president and then go and talk to the Israeli leadership to see if he can negotiate a temporary cease-fire to calm things down and prevent World War III.

Among the refugees exiting the country is rightly intelligence believes that many Hezbollah war fighters are making their way into Syria so they can live and fight another day and bring back more weapons. If Condoleezza Rice is able to negotiate a cease-fire with the Lebanese president and Israel will Hezbollah honor a cease-fire? And if Hezbollah honors the cease-fire how long will they honored for?

We will Hezbollah continue its war against the Jews and in the future continue to kill and slaughter innocent civilians? Of course they will and they are being funded by Iran to do just that to the tune of $100 million per year. It is well known that you cannot negotiate with terrorists and no matter how nice Hezbollah talks no one really trust them. Do you, consider this a 2006.
