Microsoft Xbox 360 Has Arrived and is Hotter than Ever!

Author: Howard C

AN UPGRADE? MORE LIKE A COMPLETE REDESIGN!

What started as a substitute for a low end PC evolved into a robust machine. The original Xbox was packed with standard computer components such as a Western Digital hard drive, a NVIDIA chipset, and a mobile Intel processor. Its ancestor, the Xbox 360, boasts an impressive three-core CPU, each running at 3.2 GHz; 500 MHz ATI graphics processor; 512MB of memory; 20 GB hard drive; built-in wireless functionalities. Besides the hardware upgrade comes a complete revamp of the unit visually. The Xbox classic lime green design box has been substituted with a slick white chasis.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Due to the demand of this console and the obvious resell value, many entrepreneurs are looking to make a quick buck (or hundred of bucks) buying them at the retail price of $399 and then turning around and selling them for $699 and up. Getting your hands on one of these systems will not be an easy task if you are not willing to spend hours on line at a Walmart or Best Buy. For example, at one Best Buy, thousands of eager customers waited on line to be one of the very first ones to buy "the 360". In matter of hours, all the systems were sold out. As it stands, the consoles are on backorder in most stores and the wait can easily take several months. Now it seems the only way to get one is through Ebay, the mega auction site. But don't expect the ending bid to be close to the retail price, as the sellers have their mind set on generating a hefty profit from the 360 craze. So go on, if you truly need to get one before the holidays then what are you waiting for? Start bidding.
